Vue/Volar LSP for Claude Code: any working setup or does it hang?

  Status: still open. As of the last thread activity (June 2026), the official claude-plugins-official repo has not added a Vue/Volar plugin, and the community workaround has a known hang.

  The issue proposes this manual configuration:

  with npm install -g @vue/language-server as a prerequisite. This configuration was proposed in the feature request, not verified in the thread.

  The community marketplace Piebald-AI/claude-code-lsps already ships Vue support as vue-volar. One user reports it does not work reliably in Claude Code: Volar communicates with the TypeScript server, so the Vue LSP sends a request to Claude Code's tsserver, gets no response, and hangs indefinitely. The same problem is addressed in a different LSP project, ktnyt/cclsp, in src/lsp/adapters/vue.ts; that adapter may be worth reading if you want to build a working workaround. Nothing in the thread confirms a working official or community setup yet.

  What @senritsu tried on GitHub (Didn't work)

  Tried the vue-volar LSP from the Piebald-AI/claude-code-lsps community marketplace. The Vue LSP sent a request to Claude Code's tsserver, got no response, and hung indefinitely.
