    Does cc-switch support switching providers for Claude Desktop?

    I use cc-switch (farion1231/cc-switch) to manage Claude Code provider configurations and want to know whether Claude Desktop support is planned or intentionally out of scope. The GitHub issue requesting Claude Desktop support was closed as completed. The maintainer says the feature is fixed in v3.15.0.

      Fixed: Claude Desktop support was added in cc-switch v3.15.0, and the maintainer closed the issue as COMPLETED on 2026-05-16, asking anyone who still hits problems to reopen it with their version number, reproduction steps, and logs.

      To get the feature, upgrade cc-switch to v3.15.0. The maintainer's comment confirms the fix: "已在新版 v3.15.0 中修复" (fixed in the new v3.15.0). Before that, a contributor checked the main branch with git log --oneline -30 and found commits implementing the feature, including "feat(claude-desktop): add 3P provider switching with proxy gateway", "fix(claude-desktop): match proxy model route without [1M] suffix", "refactor(claude-desktop): align provider form UI with Claude Code", and "refactor(claude-desktop): simplify model mapping UX".

      The thread does not include setup steps or config examples for the new Claude Desktop UI. As general advice, check the v3.15.0 release notes to see how the new provider switching and proxy gateway options are exposed. If Claude Desktop support still does not appear after upgrading, reopen the issue with your cc-switch version and reproduction steps, as the maintainer requested.

      What a GitHub user tried on GitHub (Worked)

      The reporter built a working experimental version adding Claude Desktop support to cc-switch before opening the issue, to check maintainer intent before sending a PR.

      What @chofuhoyu tried on GitHub (Outcome unclear)

      A contributor ran git log --oneline -30 on the main branch and found commits implementing Claude Desktop support, including 3P provider switching with a proxy gateway and model mapping fixes.
