Is taste-skill available as a Codex plugin?

I want to use the taste-skill bundle inside OpenAI Codex, but the project's docs only mention Claude/ChatGPT-style skills. Is there a native Codex plugin manifest, or can I install it with the skills CLI? What is the exact command?

Status: explained — the maintainer closed this issue as completed and confirmed taste-skill is already usable in Codex via the skills CLI; a native Codex plugin manifest is still under review in PR #94.

The maintainer confirmed this command works:

      bash
      npx skills add https://github.com/Leonxlnx/taste-skill

A commenter also suggested installing the full bundle into the Codex skills directory with:

      bash
npx skills add Leonxlnx/taste-skill -a codex

That second form was not tested in the thread, so treat it as a suggestion rather than a confirmed fix.

As an alternative to installing the whole bundle, individual SKILL.md files can be copied directly into your project or pasted into Codex or ChatGPT conversations.

General advice: npx skills add downloads and executes code from the repository you specify, so only install skills from sources you trust.

What @Leonxlnx tried on GitHub (Worked)

Maintainer confirmed taste-skill can be used in Codex now with npx skills add https://github.com/Leonxlnx/taste-skill, and noted that a native Codex plugin manifest is under review in PR #94.

What @dhruv-kashyap47 tried on GitHub (Outcome unclear)

Suggested installing the full bundle with npx skills add Leonxlnx/taste-skill -a codex, or copying individual SKILL.md files into the project or pasting them into Codex/ChatGPT conversations. The thread does not report whether this was tested.
