Does taste-skill check accessibility (contrast, text size, reduced motion)?

I use taste-skill (Leonxlnx/taste-skill) with an AI coding agent, and the agent produced highlighted text that is unreadable because the contrast is too low. Does the skill have any built-in accessibility checks for contrast, text size, or motion, or do I need to add a separate accessibility skill?

Accessibility handling is now included in taste-skill v2 (branch taste-skill-v2). The maintainer closed this request as completed on 2026-10-11, stating that v2 checks contrast and text size in a real browser, and that its motion rules require reduced-motion fallbacks. The maintainer also invited opening new issues for any specific gaps still seen.

The original issue reported one concrete failure: the agent produced highlighted text where the text could not be clearly seen. A commenter then proposed building a separate, reusable skills/accessibility-skill/ layout containing a checklist file and an AISOP V1.0.0 companion JSON, with a core rule: "Do not sacrifice readability, contrast, or operability for aesthetic mood." Their proposed blocked-list covered low contrast, tiny type, weak focus states, unreadable highlighted text, motion without a reduced-motion fallback, buttons or links without a clear interactive state, and tap targets too small on mobile. The visible JSON flow gates on contrast, typography, interaction, and motion. This layout was a proposal; the thread does not state whether it was adopted, since the maintainer's closing comment describes the v2 implementation instead. No separate skill has been confirmed as shipped.

What @Leonxlnx tried on GitHub (Worked)

Maintainer implemented the fix: taste-skill v2 (branch taste-skill-v2) checks contrast and text size in a real browser, and its motion rules require reduced-motion fallbacks.

What @optimization2026 tried on GitHub (Outcome unclear)

Commenter proposed a reusable skills/accessibility-skill/ layout with a checklist and an AISOP V1.0.0 companion JSON whose flow checks contrast, typography, interaction, and motion, plus a blocked-list including tap targets too small on mobile.
