agent-skills with OpenCode: which AGENTS.md does the setup guide mean?
I'm following the OpenCode setup guide in addyosmani/agent-skills (docs/opencode-setup.md) and it tells me to add an AGENTS.md file, but it doesn't say which one. Is the AGENTS.md at the repo root internal to the project, or is that the file OpenCode reads to discover skills? Do I need to copy AGENTS.md and the skills directory into my own workspace root?

Status: still open, but the maintainer answered the core question. In a comment on this issue, addyosmani stated that the AGENTS.md the OpenCode setup guide refers to is the file at the repository root — that is the file OpenCode reads to discover skills. He did not say the docs are actually ambiguous; he only said that if they are, that is a docs bug worth fixing, and asked the reporter to point out where the guide tripped them. No documentation fix has been published as of this thread.
Two sub-questions remain unanswered. A later commenter asked whether setup requires cloning the agent-skills repository into the workspace, opening the agent-skills project in OpenCode, and then opening the user's own project — and whether AGENTS.md and the
skills/directory must be copied to the workspace root. Another user reported the official guide does not say which folder gets which AGENTS.md file or where the skills directory goes. The only concrete setup detail shared in the thread is a link from one commenter to a fork's
docs/opencode-setup.md(commit fac2473), derived from issue #126, showing what the AGENTS.md file for OpenCode setup was supposed to look like. Nobody in the thread confirmed those steps work, so treat that file as an example rather than a verified procedure.Did this work for you? What a GitHub user tried on GitHub (Outcome unclear)
The reporter read docs/opencode-setup.md and asked which AGENTS.md file it refers to, suspecting the repo-root AGENTS.md was internal to the agent-skills project.
