How do I connect mcp-server-qdrant to a local Qdrant database by folder path?
I'm using mcp-server-qdrant and need to point it at a local Qdrant database stored in a local folder (a path), not at a remote server. The README variables I found did not seem to support a local folder path. Is local mode supported, and how do I configure it?

Local mode works as of version 0.5.2: a contributor replied that version 0.5.2 allows the use of the local mode and pointed to the current README; the reporter thanked them, and the issue was closed as completed.
The thread does not state the exact variable or config key for the local folder path. Open the README in the repository and look for the local mode section to get the current setting.
General advice: if you upgrade and still see no local-path option, check that your MCP client is actually loading the new version instead of a cached older build. The README variables you saw originally were pre-0.5.2 behavior; local databases were only supported after this release.

The reporter checked the README variables and found no option for a local Qdrant folder path, then asked whether local mode was planned or already possible.

A contributor stated that version 0.5.2 allows the use of the local mode and referred to the current README. The reporter thanked them and the issue was closed as completed.
