Does matlab-mcp-server support running a MATLAB build tool (run-build)?

I'm using matlab-mcp-server for automated/validated CI workflows and need a deterministic run-build step, similar to the run-command/run-tests/run-build actions in matlab-actions, to get incremental builds and tests. Does matlab-mcp-server provide this capability, and if so where can I find it? (No error or setup issue here — this is a feature request thread.)

Status: fixed — the issue was closed as completed, and a collaborator's closing comment (2026-06-16) says a build tool skill has been added to the MATLAB Agentic Toolkit.

This thread is a feature request, not a setup or configuration problem, so there is no error message, config file, or CLI flag involved. The only actionable fact is the closing comment's link to the toolkit's skills catalog README: https://github.com/matlab/matlab-agentic-toolkit/blob/main/skills-catalog/README.md#matlab-software-development-matlab-software-development (opens external site)

The thread does not state the skill's name, how to invoke it, or whether matlab-mcp-server itself exposes a run-build tool. The closing comment mentions only the Agentic Toolkit skill and gives no implementation details, so check that README for current usage. The earlier comment (2026-03-17) only acknowledged the request for roadmap consideration.
