Does Context7 support AsciiDoc (.adoc) files for library docs?
Context7 failed to load the Vaadin documentation at https://context7.com/vaadin/docs (opens external site) because all Vaadin docs are written in AsciiDoc (.adoc) files, not Markdown. Does Context7 support .adoc files, and what should I do for libraries that only ship AsciiDoc docs?

Status: Fixed — Context7 added partial AsciiDoc (.adoc) support, and the Vaadin docs page now loads.
This was originally reported as a feature request because
https://context7.com/vaadin/docsfailed: Vaadin's documentation is written entirely in AsciiDoc files, which Context7 did not parse. A maintainer confirmed that parsing for other document types was planned. As of May 2025, a contributor stated that adoc files are now supported partially, and pointed tohttps://context7.com/vaadin/docsas evidence. In June 2025, the "Supported Files" list onhttps://context7.com/add-librarywas updated to include AsciiDoc.Practical takeaway: if you add a library whose docs are .adoc files, re-check the generated page — it should load now. Note that support is described as partial, so some pages or sections may still render incompletely. If the library you need still fails, confirm that the docs directory actually contains .adoc files rather than Markdown, and consider filing an issue with the exact URL so maintainers can verify coverage.

Tried to load https://context7.com/vaadin/docs (opens external site), but the page failed because all Vaadin content is in .adoc files instead of Markdown.

Contributor pointed to the same Vaadin docs URL, saying adoc support exists but is only partial.

Suggested updating the 'Supported Files' list on the add-library page, which did not list AsciiDoc; a maintainer confirmed it was added.
