Context7 page stuck in "processing" state with no error — how to get it fixed?
The Context7 page for our docs (https://context7.com/context7/buildkite (opens external site)) stayed in a "processing" state for a long time without completing — no error message, the page just kept spinning. A maintainer later explained this can happen when Context7 updates its parser. What causes this, and how can a docs owner get their library page parsed?

Fixed — this was a server-side issue at Context7, not a problem with the Buildkite docs. A maintainer replied on the same day: "Sometimes when we update the parser some of the parsing processes gets stuck, I restarted the process for this library now." The following day they confirmed the parsing was completed. The thread does not mention any user-side setting, flag, or config to unstick a stuck page.
General advice: if your Context7 library page stays in "processing" state, the practical way to get it fixed is to report the library slug in an issue on the upstash/context7 repository so a maintainer can restart the parser job for it. In this thread the process was restarted on July 9 and the parsing completed by July 10.
On the docs side, the reporter asked whether exposing pages as markdown and adding an
llms.txtfile was the right direction. Buildkite docs already render as markdown for most pages by appending.mdto the URL — e.g., https://buildkite.com/docs/pipelines/getting-started.md (opens external site) — and they were working on anllms.txt. The maintainer's follow-up said it was "really cool" that they chose to use Context7 to generate thellms.txtfile for their docs, so that direction was welcomed.Did this work for you? What @enesgules tried on GitHub (Worked)
A Context7 maintainer restarted the parsing process server-side for the buildkite library, explaining that parsing can get stuck when the parser is updated. Parsing completed the next day.
