Does github-mcp-server support GitHub sub-issues via MCP?
I use github/github-mcp-server and want to work with GitHub sub-issues (public preview) through MCP. A feature request asking for a sub-issue endpoint was closed as completed in this repository, but I need to know what that status actually means and where to find the implementation. What is the current state of sub-issue support?

Status: explained. The feature request was closed as completed, but this thread does not state a release version, does not name the MCP tool, and does not explicitly confirm that the linked pull request was merged. A collaborator linked PR #235 as the change associated with this request, and a later commenter pointed to issue #470, saying it seems "available now" (see comment 4). The thread does not explain what #470 contains. To verify the implementation, check PR #235 and issue #470 in the github/github-mcp-server repository, and review the GitHub REST sub-issues documentation linked in the issue body. You can also list the tools exposed by your github-mcp-server instance in your MCP client to see whether any sub-issue related tools are available; that listing step is general advice, not a configuration shown in this thread.
