Is there an official AWS S3 MCP server? (modelcontextprotocol/servers issue closed as not planned)

I was looking for an AWS S3 MCP server in the modelcontextprotocol/servers repo, but the issue requesting one (opened 2024-11-25) is closed as NOT_PLANNED. Is there an official S3 reference server, and if not, where should new MCP server implementations be contributed?

The request is closed as NOT_PLANNED, and the maintainers explained why: starting 2024-12-03, the modelcontextprotocol/servers repo only accepts reference implementations. A new AWS S3 MCP server will not be merged directly into that repo. If you want to build one, create it in your own repository and open a PR adding a link in the repo README; the maintainers said they would review and link it. A contributor did say they were starting work on an S3 server, but no PR or repository link appears in this thread, so no official server is confirmed. If you need S3 support today, you'll need to look for a third-party server or write your own.

What @tech4life87 tried on GitHub (Outcome unclear)

A contributor volunteered to build the AWS S3 server; the maintainers welcomed the contribution.

The same contributor confirmed they were starting the work, but no PR or standalone repo link was posted in this thread.
