Am I affected? Affected: chatgpt-desktop-setup (npm), all versions. Fixed in: no fix reported yet.
- Check your version: run
npm ls chatgpt-desktop-setup. Versions all versions of chatgpt-desktop-setup are affected.
What to do now
- Remove the package if it is installed: run
npm uninstall chatgpt-desktop-setup. - Remove the chatgpt-desktop-setup package.
- Rotate all secrets and keys stored on the affected computer right away, doing so from a different computer.
General practice, not from the source: if the affected software could read tokens or credentials, rotate them after upgrading; pin versions and review changes before updating tools your agents run.
