  Fixed — the read command never existed; PR #59 clarified the SKILL.md wording and removed a dead placeholder comment in the CLI source, and the maintainer confirmed the fix on 2026-03-04.

  Agent Reach is an installer/config tool, not a wrapper. It sets up upstream tools (xreach, yt-dlp, Jina Reader, etc.) but doesn't expose their functionality through its own CLI. After running agent-reach install, you call the upstream tools directly. The only available commands are setup, install, configure, doctor, uninstall, check-update, watch, version.

  The SKILL.md line at L79 says "No need for agent-reach read or agent-reach search." That was meant to tell users not to use those commands — they don't exist — but the wording could be misread as "these exist but you don't need them." PR #59 fixed the wording.

  To read a web page, the maintainer confirmed the reporter's workaround is correct — call Jina Reader directly:

  What a GitHub user tried on GitHub (Didn't work)

  The reporter ran agent-reach read https://x.com/i/status/2028389125594993010 on macOS with the latest pip-installed agent-reach, exactly as SKILL.md documented, and got Error: invalid choice: 'read'. The help output lists only setup, install, configure, doctor, uninstall, check-update, watch, version.
