xiaohongshu-mcp search_feeds times out but login and list_feeds work

  Issue closed as NOT_PLANNED on 2026-03-04: the Agent-Reach maintainer traced it to an upstream bug in xpzouying/xiaohongshu-mcp, not to Agent-Reach itself. The fix is upstream PR #469, which is not yet merged, so current binaries/Docker images are still affected.

  Root cause: search launches headless Chrome, opens the Xiaohongshu search page, and calls MustWaitStable(), which waits until the DOM stops changing. The search results page has continuously refreshing ads/recommendations, so the DOM never stabilizes and the call panics at the timeout. check_login_status only checks cookies without opening a page, and list_feeds opens the home feed where the DOM can settle, which is why those tools work.

  Until upstream PR #469 merges, the maintainer suggests:

  1. Retry search_feeds 2-3 times after a failure, or restart the container and search immediately — there may be a short window where it works.
  2. If you need search right away, build xiaohongshu-mcp from the PR #469 branch.

  No Agent-Reach side change is needed; the defect is in the upstream browser automation layer.

  What a GitHub user tried on GitHub (Didn't work)

  Reporter called search_feeds with mcporter --timeout 60000, 120000, and 240000; each timed out with the same error while check_login_status and list_feeds returned data.

  Reporter re-logged in, refreshed cookies, and restarted the process on the Ubuntu server; search_feeds still timed out.
