    How do I enable pipeline tools in gitlab-mcp (@zereight/mcp-gitlab)?

    The GitHub issue for gitlab-mcp requesting pipeline retrieval, running, and management support is closed as completed, but I don't see pipeline tools. The maintainer said pipeline tools work in versions over v1.0.52. What configuration enables them?

      Pipeline tools are available in versions above v1.0.52 of @zereight/mcp-gitlab, and the feature request is closed as completed. The maintainer shared this mcpServers configuration:

      json
      {
        "mcpServers": {
          "GitLab communication server": {
            "command": "npx",
            "args": ["-y", "@zereight/mcp-gitlab"],
            "env": {
              "GITLAB_PERSONAL_ACCESS_TOKEN": "your_gitlab_token",
              "GITLAB_API_URL": "your_gitlab_api_url",
              "GITLAB_READ_ONLY_MODE": "false",
              "USE_GITLAB_WIKI": "false",
              "USE_MILESTONE": "false",
              "USE_PIPELINE": "true"
            }
          }
        }
      }

      Make sure you are running a version above v1.0.52, and put this block in your MCP client config. The thread does not state whether USE_PIPELINE is enabled by default, and it does not say that GITLAB_READ_ONLY_MODE must be false; those values are what the maintainer's example uses.

      Jobs and job error-log support were also requested in the thread, but the maintainer's reply does not confirm whether those are included in the pipeline tools.

      As general advice: because this example sets GITLAB_READ_ONLY_MODE to false, the token used in this config can start and manage pipelines, so scope the GitLab personal access token to only what it needs.

      What @zereight tried on GitHub (Worked)

      The maintainer posted a mcpServers configuration for @zereight/mcp-gitlab over v1.0.52 with USE_PIPELINE set to true and GITLAB_READ_ONLY_MODE set to false, then stated that users can use pipeline tools with it.
