How do I use Superpowers skills with OpenCode's native Skill tool?
The superpowers plugin (obra/superpowers) previously shipped custom use_skill and find_skills tools, but OpenCode added native Skill support around v1.0.190. I'm using superpowers with OpenCode and I want to use the native skill tool instead. What changed and what setup is required?

Fixed in PR #330, completed on 2026-01-22. OpenCode gained native Skill support around v1.0.190, and superpowers now relies on that native
skilltool instead of its old customuse_skillandfind_skillstools.According to the maintainer in the thread, PR #330 made these changes:
- Removed the custom
use_skill/find_skillstools so superpowers works with OpenCode's nativeskilltool. - Symlinked the skills into
~/.config/opencode/skills/superpowers/so OpenCode discovers them alongside personal and project skills. - Updated
README.opencode.mdwith installation instructions for the symlink, usage instructions for the native tool, and a mapping from Claude Code tools to OpenCode equivalents.
To use it, ask the model to use the native skill tool, for example:
use skill tool to list skills use skill tool to load superpowers/brainstormingA commenter also noted that OpenCode's built-in
questiontool (added in an early 1.1.x release) could improve the brainstorming flow, but that was a suggestion and not part of the fix. If you still see a specific gap between OpenCode's native skills and superpowers' skill system, the maintainer asks for a new issue with specifics.Did this work for you?- Removed the custom

A commenter suggested bundling superpowers as an OpenCode plugin so users get updated skills automatically, pointing to the oh-my-opencode repo as an example.

Another commenter suggested publishing the plugin on npm so users add a one-line config entry and updates come from the maintainer side.
