How do I install superpowers on Kiro CLI without .kiro directory support?
I use superpowers with Kiro CLI, but the repo only ships platform directories like .codex/ and .opencode/, so skills don't load in Kiro's Power-based structure. Is installation supported yet, and what setup do people actually use in the meantime? The feature request for a .kiro/ structure is still open.

Status: still open. The feature request for a
.kiro/directory is open; a PR (#618) was opened proposing an approach, but the thread doesn't state whether it ever landed. The working path reported in the thread: open https://skills.sh/obra/superpowers (opens external site) and pick the Kiro or KiroCLI installation option. Two users report this works — one confirmed "I just install via skills.sh and it work".
For a manual setup, one user created a dedicated Kiro agent (
agent.md, JSON format also works) containing the superpower skill, instructions, and a shell script that git-clones superpowers. The agent references the cloned skills with:yamlresources: - skill:///~/.kiro-superpowers/skills/**/SKILL.mdand the prompt includes: "Before responding or acting on ANY task, read
~/.kiro-superpowers/skills/using-superpowers/SKILL.mdwithfs_readand follow it for the rest of the session." The author had not tested it on a full feature, so treat that as experimental. For upstream work: PR #618 proposes a
.kiro-power/POWER.mdmanifest plus a global symlink so skills appear as slash commands in every Kiro workspace, rather than per-skill steering wrappers. The maintainer liked the direction and asked for the PR to start the discussion. One detail worth knowing: addingkeywords/tagstoSKILL.mdhas no effect in public Kiro — those fields are reserved for Amazon's internal tooling; onlyPOWER.mdfrontmatter keywords drive automatic Power activation.Did this work for you? What @nguyenhuyhoang241298 tried on GitHub (Worked)

Built a dedicated Kiro agent (agent.md) referencing skill:///~/.kiro-superpowers/skills/**/SKILL.md, with a prompt instruction to read using-superpowers/SKILL.md first, plus a shell script that git-clones superpowers; not tested on a full feature.
